1. Tell us something about your overall shoot experience for COLORS’ Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 in Cape Town?

A. Participating in COLORS' ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13’ in Cape Town has been an incredible journey for me. I was nervous initially, but once I started the stunts, my apprehension faded away. Despite facing numerous challenges, I gained confidence and discovered a different side of myself. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved on the show. The overall shoot experience was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

2. Which fears did you overcome during this exhilarating journey and what were the challenges you faced?

A. COLORS' Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 was primarily a mental game, with physical challenges playing a smaller role. It was about being mentally prepared, as physicality alone can’t save you. I realized that my emotions were always on edge, but I discovered new sides of myself in different situations. Surprisingly, I remained calm when a snake was thrown at me for a photo shoot and even during a stunt. I handled crocodiles as if they were my pet dog, after a while. This journey allowed me to explore different aspects of my personality.

3. Which was your first stunt, how did you feel while performing it stunt and how did you feel after completing it?

A. The first stunt in COLORS' Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, was everyone’s debut stunt. We had to hold on to cargo bags that were tied to a chopper that was whirring over a water body. It was completely outside my skill set. I had to face the fear of taking an unintended dive into the water, and it was far from enjoyable.

4. What are your thoughts on the support and guidance provided by the show’s host Rohit Shetty?

A. Having watched previous seasons of COLORS' Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, I believe Rohit Shetty is the best in the domain of action. I realized that if anyone in India can pull off such great stunts, it's him. I attribute my success in the stunts I attempted so far to his guidance. Without him, I wouldn't have been able to perform them.

5. How have you changed as a person after this roller coaster ride filled with thrills, emotions, and fear on COLORS?

A. Through my experiences on COLORS' Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, I've become more aware of my fears and gained confidence in knowing what truly scares me. I sometimes jokingly refer to it as PTSD, as certain triggers evoke a sense of danger or unease even now. These traumatic memories won't easily fade away, and even while watching the show, certain actions remind me of my phobias. It will take time for the withdrawal from these experiences to dwindle.

6. You prepared yourself mentally and physically for the stunts before flying. How much do you think it helped during the shoot?

A. No matter how much you prepare, you can't fully anticipate the unpredictable situations and challenges the show throws at the contestants. There’s no preparation for the never-seen-before stunts we performed. While working out and improving agility can help to some extent, the uniqueness of the situations often overrides any physical preparation one must have done. Being able to swim gave me an advantage in certain situations, but overall, agility alone didn't make a significant difference.

7. Can you share any memorable moments or incidents that transpired during the show?

A. I loved the feeling of pulling off a stunt successfully. Chilling with the contestants when we weren’t shooting for the show was super memorable.

8. How did you bond with your fellow contestants during the show? Were friendships formed?

A. I formed strong bonds with my fellow contestants during my time in COLORS' Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, and I still remember the room numbers of my neighbouring contestants. We would often have lunch and dinner together. Anjum Fakih and Arijit Taneja became my first friends during my journey. Our friendships continued to grow, and I know that some of these people will be lifelong friends.

9.  A message for your fans.

A. My message to fans is to live life on your own terms. On Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, I did everything within my capabilities and avoided things I couldn't or wouldn't do. I want to remind the viewers that every experience makes you stronger, so embrace them and explore the world through travel.
