Hyderabad, March 29, 2026: The Hyderabad Runners Society organized a Women’s Special Run celebrating the spirit of women’s fitness, empowerment, and community participation.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 250+ women runners participating enthusiastically. The run aimed to encourage women to adopt a healthy lifestyle while fostering a sense of confidence, safety, and unity.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Dr. P. Lavanya Naik Jadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Women & Child Safety Wing, Hyderabad City Police, SHE Teams and the Bharosa Center, who addressed the gathering and shared an inspiring message on women’s safety, empowerment, and the importance of staying active. Her presence added significance to the occasion, reinforcing the importance of community-driven initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Arun Kumar, President of Hyderabad Runners Society, highlighted the organization’s commitment to promoting inclusive fitness and creating platforms that empower women through running and community engagement.
