Hyderabad, December 29, 2018: Hyderabad has become a hub for Artificial Intelligence. MTX has entered into this market at a right time, Jayesh Ranjan told, 100 plus industry gathering who came to witness the launch of MTX second office in Hyderabad. Speaking further to the MTX staff, technocrats and startup’s in the city at the launch function held at ITC Kohenur hotel on Saturday , Jayesh added that MTX has made the right choice by entering Hyderabad. And he listed out why Hyderabad is happening in AI domain front. He gave some important AI activities happening in the city. Telangana was the first State chosen by Niti Ayog for its program “AI for All” to partner with it. It is a central government initiative, Jayesh informed. One big Hospital Chain is setting up Health Care Centric Incubator very soon in the city. They were to set it up earlier but got delayed due to elections. Now they are geared up to launch it in a month’s time, Jayesh Ranjan shared with his audience. He stated further that in February, a national level Seminar/Conference on AI domain will be held in Hyderabad. Industry body NASSCOM chose Hyderabad to set up its Centre of Excellence of AI. They will commence their activities next month, he informed. One of the best Tech Schools, IIT Kharagpur, chose Hyderabad to set up a campus focusing on AI, shared Jayesh. In the last four years, Telangana has proactively embraced new wave technologies, Ranjan told the gathering. He also mentioned that Microsoft has collaborated with a Hyderabad based four and half decades old, premier Eye Care centre called LV Prasad Eye Hospital. Using hospital data of the last 45 years, Microsoft has developed algorithms, which, when a new child goes to them, based on previous data, they will predict the diseases the patient likely to develop in near future. With those tools they prevented avoidable blindness., he informed. Shark Tank is known is the critically acclaimed award-winning entrepreneuriral themed reality show. Through "Dream to Reality" show, we would like to reinvigorate the entrepreneurship in India. The program aims to change the way entrepreneurs pitch for funds and help showcase “I wish I had thought of that business idea and products”, he informed. The company already owns Maverick TV. Ramadevi explained to the foreigners how they have been leveraging new wave of technologies to various government departments and how they were working hard to develop eco-system in the state. Telangana pioneered Blockchain Technology and embraced well in advance in the country. Government is also setting up Centres of Excellence in AI and Cyber Security Domains, she stated.
