Hundreds of beneficiaries of 16 government schemes interact with Prime Minister virtually

Ludhiana, May 31, 2022: Under the Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, hundreds of beneficiaries of 16 different government schemes from district Ludhiana today interacted with Prime Minister through video conferencing. 

A state-level function in this regard was organised at the Dr Manmohan Singh Auditorium in Punjab Agricultural University, here.

This event was attended by more than 700 direct beneficiaries of 16 different government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (Rural), Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (Urban), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Poshan Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), Jal Jeevan Mission, Amrut, Pradhan Mantri Svanidhi, One Nation One Ration card, Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Ann Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Chief Minister Sehat Bima Yojana, Health & Wellness Centres and Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana.

MLAs Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, Kulwant Singh Sidhu, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Madan Lal Bagga and Daljit Singh Grewal, Financial Commissioner Rural Development Seema Jain, Joint Development Commissioner Amit Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik, ADC (Rural Development) Amit Kumar Panchal, besides several others were also present on the occasion.

During this interactive session, the beneficiaries were briefed about all 16 government schemes and were urged to motivate all eligible persons to avail full benefits of these schemes.

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Dr KNS Kang, Amandeep Singh Mohi, AAP District President Harbhupinder Singh Dharaur, Ahbaab Singh Grewal, Gurjit Singh Gill, Sharnpal Singh Makkar, besides several others.
