Huge demonstration by LIC Pensioners’ Association

Ludhiana, August 4, 2022: On the call of All India LIC Pensioners’ Association, LIC Pensioners today hold a huge demonstration in front of  Divisional Office, situated at Urban Estate, Phase-I, Dugri, Ludhiana. They are raising their hands for the following demands which are lying pending with Govt of India since long:
•    Increase Family from 15% to 30%
•    Immediate notification of agreed improvements in family pension
•    Respect & dignity to Senior Citizens.
•    Request to control Government for “Not disrespecting the Sentiments of Widows and Senior Citizens

While addressing the gathering Darshan Singh, President, LIC Pensioners’ Association, Ludhiana Division told that at present LIC is paying a family pension @ 15% where as it is 30% in Central Government and all in State Govt departments. He further explained that even the LIC Management has accepted and send to Ministry of finance for its approval. But the same is pending for its approval for the last two years.

After delivering the huge demonstration, LIC Pensioners had submitted a memorandum to the Marketing Manager, LIC of India, Divisional Office, Ludhiana and requested him to send it to Govt of India through LIC Chairman.
