HPCA Women Senior (T-20) Team won pre-quarter final match against Goa: HPCA

Dharamsala, April 29, 2022: R.P.Singh Chairman COC (HPCA) informed that the HPCA Women Senior team have won the Pre-quarter final match of the BCCI Women Senior T-20 Knockout which was played on Friday against Goa at C.K. Pithawala Stadium Surat.
It is informed that Himachal Pradesh’s openers Nikita Chauhan and Harleen Deol scored 90 runs for the 1st wicket stand when put to bat by Goa. Harleen Deol remained unbeaten on 84 runs in 66 balls. Himachal Pradesh scored 167/2, setting Goa a target of 168 in 20 overs.
Ansari and Harleen Deol were the standout bowlers for HPCA as they took 3 and 2 wickets of Goa, respectively. HPCA team won the match by 3 runs as in reply Goa Cricket Association could only score 164/7 in 20 overs
Singh informed that with this win Himachal Women’s Team qualified for quarter final which shall be played against Maharashtra Cricket Association on 30th April 2022 at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium Surat.
