Hot Friday in Delhi, similar weather likely Saturday

New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) The national capital experienced a warm, sunny Friday and the maximum temperature settled at 38.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season. Similar weather is expected Saturday, the Met office said.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Saturday will see cloudy skies but the day would be warm.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 39 and 22 degrees Celsius respectively.

Friday morning was sunny and the minimum temperature was three notches below the season's average at 20.6 degrees Celsius.

Thursday's maximum temperature settled at 37.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 21.2 degrees Celsius.
