Hostelers usher in 2018 amidst celebrations

Jalandhar, January 01, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous and Heritage institution's hostel is a home away from home for the boarders. The hostel students of KMV ushered in New Year with a lot of festivity, zeal, zest and celebrations. They cut the cake, danced and sang in a celebratory mood. Prof.Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal KMV wished all the hostel students and staff a very happy and prosperous New Year. She averred that it is customary here at KMV Hostel to celebrate all festivals with great warmth and vigour. Such celebrations strengthen the strong bond of togetherness which is already existing in the boarders who true to KMV culture have learnt lessons in sharing and caring. The students who hail from all states of India have become an extended family here at KMV. Along with 200 students who had stayed back in the Hostel on the New Year Eve were the wardens and teachers who were a part of the festivities.
