Chandigarh, June 5, 2025: The Horticulture Division of Panjab University today celebrated ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ campaign launched by the Prime Minister on the occasion of World Environment Day near Vice Chancellor’s Office.
On this occasion, PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig planted a Plumeria Sapling. Registrar Prof. Y.P. Verma, Director Research Prof. Meenakshi Goyal, Associate Dean Student Welfare Dr. Naresh Kumar, Secretary to Vice Chancellor Prof. Krishan Kumar, Executive Engineer-II Er. Anil Thakur, President PUSA (NT) Honey Thakur and Astt. Er. Amandeep Singla were also in attendance.
PU Vice Chancellor extended her best wishes for upcoming plantations in coming monsoon season.
During the oncoming monsoon season, the PU Horticulture Division plans to do large number of plantations in a planned manner to make the campus look more beautiful.
