Honorary doctorate conferred on Trident Group Chairman Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta by Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University

Chandigarh, April 9, 2022: Trident Group Chairman Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, a stalwart in the ‘Indian Textile and Paper industry, an entrepreneur extraordinaire, and a luminary who has helped bring Indian Textile Industry to the global stage was conferred with Honorary Doctorate, Honoris Causa during the 1st convocation of Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, Punjab.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, presented Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta with an Honorary Doctorate, Honoris Causa, in recognition of his distinguished service in the field of Trade and Industry. He received the honour from Hon’ble Governor of Punjab Sh. Banwarilal Purohit, and Chancellor of MRSPTU, Bathinda in the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Bhagwant Mann.
Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta, Chairman of Trident Group is a true inspiration to millions of entrepreneurs across the nation. His complete journey has been of immense hard work and raising the bar in the textile and paper industry. Padma Shri Rajinder Gupta is currently Chairman of Advisory Council of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh & Himachal Pradesh of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).  He is also Chairman, Board of Governors – Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh and he is serving on Cleveland Clinic International Leadership Board, as an active member of the CCILB, he directly affects international strategies and activities, particularly those impacting India. Since his inception into the CCLIB, he has collaborated with physician leaders to positively influence healthcare, research, medical education and patient care.
