Home Science students get placement offer in Nestle and Byjus at attractive salary package

Chandigarh, March 29, 2022: In a weeklong campus placement drive beginning from 24 March in Home Science College, the students got lucrative offer of placement and internship in reputed organizations. 

Stuti, a student of M.Sc. Final year has been placed in Byjus,  global ed-tech company, at the package of 4 lacs per annum approximately. Shivali Kapoor, student of Post graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics has been selected in Nestle, global food beverage company, at a package of 3.5 lacs per annum approximately. Fitelo, diet company has shortlisted more than six candidates for final round of interview. Most of the students of Foods and nutrition get 100 percent internship opportunity in reputed hospitals across tricity. 

Dr. Shabana ,Placement incharge, informed that this weeklong offline placement drive is organised specific to different streams - Foods and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles, Human Development and Family relations and Interior Design and Resource management. This will ensure all students to get an opportunity to explore industry demand in their respective domains and work efficiently. 

Principal Prof. Sudha Katyal congratulated the seleted candidates. She encouraged the students to participate in this placement drive with full zeal and motivation.
