Home building retailer IBO further expands their footprint in South India, forays into Hyderabad

Hyderabad, December 16, 2022: IBO, India’s leading omni-channel destination for home building and renovation retail, has expanded their footprint in South India, through their foray into Telangana with the launch of their first store in Hyderabad. The expansion is aligned with the brand’s commitment to extend the omni-channel experience in home building retail and home innovation to customers, at value price points.

Through this 15000 sq. ft. store, IBO will offer 4000 products from over 200 brands under “one roof at wholesale prices” to a cohort of home-owners, home building professionals, interior decorators, architects, and builders for their home building and home improvement requirements. Unlike organized retail, where prices are often opaque, all prices at IBO are displayed on shelf and available via the app. These prices will also be the most competitive prices that customers can get in the market. The store is located at Secundrabad’s urban neighborhood of Ranigunj, only 5-6 kms away from the popular Banjara Hills.

Speaking at the launch of the store in Hyderabad, Venkateshwar Kumar, CEO - Retail, IBO said, “We are pleased to announce IBO's entry into Hyderabad. With the city establishing itself as a global hub for IT, ITeS, and manufacturing firms, there is new wave of new aspiring home owners in the city. The real estate sentiment in the city is growing stronger year on year and this has led to an increase in demand for home construction, home improvement, and home interiors products. With our new store, we aim to bring the omni-channel low price experience to customers who are looking for smart home building and renovation solutions.

Elaborating about IBO’s omni-channel experience, Mayank Shivam, CEO – Ecommerce, IBO said, “Today customers are more digitally oriented and use online platforms not just for their basic needs but even for more enhanced requirements. To create this experience for the customers, we have been investing extensively to augment our ecommerce platform, enabling customers to shop within the comfort of their homes.”

Earlier this year, IBO opened their stores in Bangalore and Chennai and in less than 365 days, the brand has catered to lakhs of customers.
