Homage paid to Veteran Communist and Trade Union Leader Com O P Mehta

Ludhiana: A memorial meeting was held at Shaheed Karnail Singh Isroo Bhawan in Ludhiana in memory of the eminent leader of the Communist Party of India and AITUC Com O P Mehta who breathed his last on 24 June 2020. The meeting was attended by family members and leaders of CPI (M), RMPI, INTUC, CITU, CTU and representatives of Komagatamaru Yadgari Committee. 
Prominent speakers on the occasion included Comrade D P Maur District Secretary, Ka: Ramesh Ratan, Dr. Arun Mitra, Gulzar Goria, M S Bhatia, Adv. Naval Chibber, Sukhminder Singh Lotte, Jagdish Chand, Jatinder Singh, Prof. Jaipal Singh, Kewal Kishan, Gurjit Singh Jagpal, Jasdev Singh Lalton, Vijay Kumar, Baldev Singh Kohli, Master Firoz.
