Jalandhar, December 26, 2017: Lyallpur Khalsa College has continued its winning run in the field of Sports by bagging the Hockey Championship of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar by defeating DAV College Jalandhar by a margin of 4-2 in the finals. College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra congratulated the victorious students with their incharge Prof.Tarsem Singh and coach Olympian Gundeep Kumar. It was also mentioned that the College has already won the prestigious Sardar Teja Singh Samundari Overall General Championship Sports Trophy of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar for the record 22nd time. Sardarni Balbir Kaur President Governing Council, Dr.Jaspal Singh, HOD Physical Education and Dr.S.S.Bains Dean Sports congratulated the victorious sports team on this triumph.
