HMV, Jalandhar organising workshop on Animal Tissue Culture Techniques.
Jalandhar, November 16, 2014: The Department of Biotechnology of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a one day workshop and guest lecture on ‘Animal Tissue Culture Techniques’ in the premises of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya.
Principal Dr Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj florally welcomed the resource person, Dr S.K. Gautam from IAB Services, Kurukshetra. Dr Gautam had specialised in Ph.D. Biotechnology from NDRI, Karnal and done his post-doc from California on Animal Cell liver. Students of B.Sc.III and B.Sc.II Biotech attended the workshop and interacted with the resource person to know more about the different techniques of animal tissue culture. Dr. Mani Sharma introduced the various aspects of Biotechnology Deptt. to the resource person. Dr. Meena Sharma, Dr. Jitender, Sumit Sharma and Ashima were also present on this occasion.
