HMV organised Motivational talk-cum-Career Awareness Programme

Jalandhar, April 21, 2015: PG Department of Commerce and Management of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organised a Motivational Talk-cum-Career Awareness Programme for the students of B.Com.II Sem. (Reg.& Prof.) and B.Voc.(Banking and Financial Services) Sem.II.C.S. Amit Vinayak and C.S. Mohit Saluja were the resource persons.  Principal Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj welcomed the guests and appreciated the efforts of the department.  The students were made aware of the various career opportunities available and were advised that the Mantra for success in life is to have clear focus on the goals to be achieved.  This was followed by a workshop on ‘XBRL and its practical applications’ for the students of M.Com.  C.S. Gurvinder Singh, CS Jatin Chadha and CS Amit Vinayak explained the practical applications of XBRL by giving examples of reporting practices followed by companies.  The workshop ended with a doubt clearing and interactive session.  Head of the Commerce Department, Dr. Kanwaldeep Kaur delivered a formal vote of thanks to the distinguished guests for their gracious presence and enlightening the students with their expert knowledge.
