HMV declared as best institution in IIC activities by MIC and AICTE

Jalandhar, December 9, 2021: Maintaining its spectacular glory and continuing with the tradition of excellence, the Institution Innovation Council of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar achieved the highest 4 star rating accorded by Institution’s Innovation Council, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (Government of India) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its excellent performance in Innovation activities in 2020-21. This also earns it the credit of being the first and the only DAV institution of Punjab to achieve this rating. The result was declared on December 1 in which Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE and Prof. Rajneesh Jain, Secretary, UGC addressed all the IIC members,  Innovation Ambassadors (IAs) and student participants of National Innovation Contest (NIC).  Event was graced with the presence of top authorities from MIC, AICTE, UGC and MoE.  Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalya, Jalandhar was declared as the Best Performing Institution of India in the same. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Ajay Sareen said that “All stakeholders of the institute are elated with the astounding success of HMV-IIC. This accomplishment has been the result of yearlong hard work by the Cell and blessings of our mentors at DAVCMC, New Delhi. Principal Sareen further said that innovation is a continuous journey and government has provided the right platform where institutions can directly contribute towards the development of the country. The dedicated students and mentors of HMV-IIC are committed to make the optimum use of global innovation platform.” Dr Anjana Bhatia, IIC Convenor said that ‘four stars’ is the highest ranking given for the year. Institutions with 4 stars are considered to be the best performing institutions having streamlined innovation and entrepreneurship campus ecosystems and established mechanisms to promote and support innovations and entrepreneurship among students and faculty members.
