In a groundbreaking move that promises to redefine India’s printing and packaging landscape, the Indian Printing Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) and the All India Federation of Printers and Packagers (AIFPP) signed a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 15, 2025, at IPAMA’s office in Noida, India. This first-of-its-kind strategic partnership unites two titans of the industry, igniting a wave of innovation, collaboration, and global recognition for a sector that powers approximately 250,000 entrepreneurs nationwide. The agreement cements IPAMA and AIFPP as exclusive strategic partners for exhibitions and events, setting the stage for a transformative era of growth and excellence.

The MoU was formalized by Iqbal Singh, General Secretary of IPAMA, and Sunil Jain, General Secretary of AIFPP, with Jaiveer Singh, President of IPAMA, and Ashwani Gupta, President of AIFPP, leading the charge. The signing was witnessed by an esteemed group of industry stalwarts, including R Suresh Kumar, Dharam Pal Rawat, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Kuljeet Singh Mann, Prashant Vats, Rajesh Sardana, Vijay Mohan, Sandeep Aggarwal, Mukesh Kumar, Prashant Aggarwal, Deepak Bhatia, and Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, symbolizing a unified vision for the industry’s future.

This dynamic partnership will debut with the prestigious “Packaging Excellence Awards” at the IntraPac India 2025 Exhibition, scheduled for December 10-13, 2025, at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida, with a dazzling award ceremony planned for December 12. IPAMA will provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, including the venue, seating, and promotional support, while AIFPP will spearhead the award framework, entry evaluations, and event orchestration. The collaboration will extend its momentum to the 17th PRINTPACK INDIA Exhibition in 2027, introducing National and Global Awards for Excellence in Printing and Packaging. Exciting prospects also await in IPAMA’s regional initiatives, such as PRINTPACK – Rajasthan and PRINTPACK – Northeast, where AIFPP will drive value-added events like seminars and personality awards.

Jaiveer Singh hailed the MoU as a “golden milestone,” predicting a radiant future where India’s printing and packaging industry shines on the global stage. The MoU, valid until PRINTPACK INDIA 2027, ensures mutual exclusivity, with both parties agreeing not to recognize other strategic partners without prior consent, fostering a focused and powerful alliance. Governed by Indian law, the agreement outlines a robust framework for cooperation, confidentiality, and dispute resolution, with specific commitments to be detailed in future agreements. This historic collaboration is poised to catapult India’s printing and packaging industry to unprecedented heights, sparking a legacy of innovation, recognition, and unparalleled growth.
