HIRD Director Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan to play the role of Lok Sabha Speaker at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sansad’

Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Institute of Rural Development (HIRD), has been invited to play the role of the Lok Sabha Speaker at this unique event.
Rohtak, January 9, 2026: With the objective of leading the country towards a developed India with a commitment to Nation First, a three-day ‘Viksit Bharat Sansad 2026’ is being organized in Jaipur (Rajasthan). Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, Director of the Haryana Institute of Rural Development (HIRD), has been invited to play the role of the Lok Sabha Speaker at this unique event.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma, founder president of Youth for Nation, said that this program is being organized under the aegis of the Developed India Sankalp Sansthan at the G.D. Badaya Auditorium in Jaipur from January 10 to 12. He said that the three-day brainstorming session will be conducted in the style of India's largest democratic body, the Indian Parliament. Before the first session of the program, participants will be formally assigned roles as MPs from the ruling and opposition parties. Following the formal process of government formation, there will be a swearing-in ceremony for the Prime Minister and his Council of Ministers. After this, over the three days, scholars and young people from different parts of the country will deliberate on various aspects of a developed India. Eminent and experienced personalities from various parts of the country, along with emerging representatives of the new generation, will participate in the event.
Before leaving for Jaipur, HIRD Director Dr. Virender Singh Chauhan, said that he will utilize this platform to inspire young people to participate in nation-building, policy-making, and realizing the goal of a developed India. According to the organizers, the ‘Viksit Bharat Sansad 2026’ is a powerful effort to provide a platform for the ideas, dialogue, and leadership of young people, which will strengthen the resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047.
Many distinguished personalities from various fields across the country will participate in this event as guests. These include former chairperson of the Rajasthan Women's Commission Suman Sharma, former Mayor of Jaipur Jyoti Khandelwal, CEO of Public Police Rakesh Maheshwari, Mahamandaleshwar Rajeshwaranand from Nirmal Ashram Pushkar, former chairman of the Rajasthan Minority Commission Sardar Jasveer, BJP state president from Manipur Sarada Devi, Mayor of Jaipur Soumya Gurjar, former Chief Justice of India K.G.
