Hindu College holds voter registration camp
The Legal Literacy Cell of Lal Nath Hindu College organised a voter registration camp in collaboration with the District Election Office under the ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ and ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ initiatives.
Rohtak, October 9, 2026: The Legal Literacy Cell of Lal Nath Hindu College organised a voter registration camp in collaboration with the District Election Office under the ‘Seva Mera Yogdan’ and ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ initiatives.
Held under the chairmanship of principal Dr Anil Kumar Taneja, the camp aimed to encourage students and citizens to register as voters and strengthen their participation in the democratic process. Dr Taneja said voting was not merely a right but also a key civic responsibility. He urged every eligible citizen to register as a voter and contribute to strengthening democracy.
Legal Literacy Cell convener Dr Sandeep Kumar sensitised participants about the importance of voting, the voter registration process and their rights as responsible citizens.
Dr Anju Deswal, Dr Chitra Sharma, Dr Shikha Phogat, Dr Vandana Ranga, Dr Rajni Kumari, Dr Praveen Sharma, Dr Jyoti Deswal, Dr Promila Yadav, and Ritu were also present.
