‘Hindi Diwas’ Celebrated at PCM S.D. College for Women
PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour under ‘Hindi Sahitya Dhara’.

Jalandhar, Sep 15, 2025: PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour under ‘Hindi Sahitya Dhara’.
To mark the occasion, a lively Nukkad Natak (Street Play) was staged, highlighting the importance, beauty, and growing relevance of the Hindi language in India and across the globe.
Around six students from B.A. and B.Ed. (Hindi) participated in the street play, while nearly forty students attended the event as an audience. The performers celebrated the glory of Hindi and shed light on its ever-increasing popularity both within the country and abroad.
Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar addressed the gathering and encouraged everyone to maximise the use of Hindi as the ‘Rajbhasha’ (official language), ‘Rashtrabhasha’ (national language), and ‘Sampark Bhasha’ (link language).
She lauded the efforts of the Department of Hindi and congratulated the students and faculty members, including Dr. Neena Mittal and Ms. Diwakshi, for successfully organising this meaningful event.
