He breathed his last in Kullu Mohal recently. The final rites were performed yesterday in the presence of family, friends, and members of the cricketing fraternity.

Dharamshala, October 21, 2025: A press note of HPCA said that The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) is deeply saddened to announce the passing of its former President and esteemed Director, R.P. Singh. He breathed his last in Kullu Mohal recently. The final rites were performed yesterday in the presence of family, friends, and members of the cricketing fraternity.
R.P. Singh’s contributions to the growth and development of cricket in Himachal Pradesh over the last three decades were profound and enduring. A visionary leader and passionate administrator, he played a pivotal role in nurturing young talent and enhancing cricketing infrastructure across the state.
Several dignitaries and senior officials gathered to pay their final respects. Among them were Arun Dhumal, Chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Avnish Parmar, Secretary HPCA, Vijay Bhandari, Director HPCA, and Executive Members Shiv Kapoor and Tej Prakash Chopra.
R.P. Singh’s legacy will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude. His unwavering dedication, leadership, and love for the game have left an indelible mark on Himachal Pradesh cricket.
The HPCA extends its heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace.
