Dharamsala, November 30, 2013: Urmila Singh Governor and Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh have expressed deep grief over the sad demise of SN Verma, former IAS, who died after brief illness.
In their condolence message to the bereaved family, they said that Verma was a highly distinguished public servant and respected bureaucrat known for his honesty.
They prayed the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the grieved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Verma served as Secretary Home, GAD and also headed various important departments during his service career in the State.
