Himachal News/Five to six houses gutted in Nichar in Kinnaur district

Dharamsala, November 26, 2013: As per the reports reaching here today, five to six houses were gutted in Nichar in the Kinnaur district. No report of loss of life has been reported so far.
The state spokesperson said that Chief Minister, Virbhadra Singh has conveyed his grief over the incident and had directed the Deputy Commissioner Kinnaur to personally supervise the relief and rescue operations. He said that the fire victims should be compensated as per the relief manual and every efforts be made to rehabilitate them.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, Kinnaur, SJM Pathania told that the cause of fire had not been ascertained till yet. He said that fire extinguishers had been rushed to the spot and every effort was being made to douse the flames.
