Dharamshala, December 6, 2018: Himachal Food Supply Minister Kisan Kapoor held a meeting with district administration in Dharamsala on Thursday and reviewed preparations for the proposed winter session of the State Legislative Assembly beginning on December 10 at Dharamshala and the proposed Dharamshala tour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 27. Senior officials of various departments and the Deputy Commissioner Kangra Sandeep Kumar and Superintendent of Police Santosh Patial were present in this meeting, The minister reviewed the arrangements including security arrangements, accommodation, traffic management, drinking water and power supply, catering, health and hygiene, etc during the assembly session.

Kishan Kapoor asked the municipal officials to conduct special operations for the city's cleanliness system during the session. Apart from this, he instructed to set up adequate number of bio-toilets for the convenience of the people. He also instructed to keep the proper street light arrangement in the city.

Kishan Kapoor visited Police Stadium Dharamshala, which is the proposed venue for public meeting during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the city on 27 th December. He directed the police and all other departments to complete the preparations for the Prime Minister's visit by December 20th.

He said, “The speed of development in the state become faster, due to the better coordination between the central government and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur’s government in the state . the state has received more than 9 thousand crore rupees for development works. In just 11 months of the term of the state government in office. Receiving such a large amount of funds for the development of Himachal from the Centre in a short span , is a big achievement. It also shows immense affection of PM for the Himachalis .”
