Free travelling facility for women in HRTC for day
Dharamsala, August 19, 2013: The Governor of Himachal, Urmila Singh and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh have felicitated the people of the State on 'Raksha Bandhan'.
Urmila Singh in her message has said that the festival of Raksha Bandhan celebrates the relationship between brothers and sisters, reinforce the spirit of family bonding, societal harmony and peaceful coexistence.
Virbhadra Singh said that the festival symbolizes the love, affection and brotherhood and expressed the hope that the festival would strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.
Transport and Food and Civil Supplies Minister G.S. Bali has felicitated the people of the state especially women on the occasion of ‘Raksha Bandhan'. He said that on this occasion, women folk would be provided free travelling facility in ordinary buses of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC).
