HIMACHAL DOING BEST TO PREVENT CORONA SO FAR

Dharamshala: The Deputy commissioner of Kangra Mr Rakesh Prajapati said that according to the latest report received from Dr RP Medical College Tanda 78 samples for Covid test have been declared negative today, were as the rest 14 samples are still under process.
Prajapati said, “36 0ut 0f 42 samples from Una district, all 14 from Hamirpur and Nadoun,7 out of 10 from Baijnath, all 5 from Dharamshala, all 10 from Nurpur and  6 from 11 of Tanda are declared negative today.”
Yesterday too, a total of 91 samples tested in Tanda and 89 of them were declared negative, while 2 were under process. Dr RP Medical College lab is one the top Corona testing labs in Himachal.
So far 39 corona positive cases have been reported in Himachal, out of which 23 cases are still active and undergoing treatment, whereas 11 cured and only one death was reported so far. 23 corona positive patients are admitted to various Covid-19 hospitals in Himachal. 7381 people are under surveillance, of which 5193 have completed their 28-day surveillance period. 2188 is still under surveillance
