High level meeting held to discuss issues related to PSIEC struck up cases and other matters

Ludhiana, January 24, 2024: A high level meeting was held to discuss the issues related to PSIEC struck up cases and other matters. The meeting was chaired by DPS Kharbanda, CEO Invest Punjab, Baldeep Kaur MD PSIEC, Kamal Bansal, PPCB,   Jigyasa, PSIEC, S. Arshpreet Singh  CGM and senior officials were present.

Upkar Singh Ahuja President of CICU coordinated the meeting to resolve the issues. It was decided that DIC will verify & issue certificate with date of production clearly.

Policy for clubbing and bifurcation of plots is being framed, CICU was requested to give suggestions, around 24 Struck up and disputed cases were discussed and action was taken in few cases whereas some cases held due to policy matters.

Following Industrialists were part of the meeting i.e.  OP Bassi, President VIII Association, Honey Sethi, General Secretary CICU, Gautam Malhotra, Vice President  Vipin Mittal Vice President CICU  and some Industries like Gurunanak Rubbers Industries, Lait Sharma, M/s Casper Industries, Verstile Enterprises, Suraj Udyog, Rosewel International & Others.

CICU demanded one time settlement scheme with 8% simple interest to resolve long pending litigations.

Cancelled plots without any specific reason would be reconsidered and resolved.
