HI-BIRD INTRODUCES NEW RANGE OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE COMFORT BICYCLES FOR PEDALING ENTHUSIASTS

LUDHIANA BASED BICCYLE MANUFACTURER INSTALLS GEARS EVEN IN STANDARD STREET ROASTER BICYCLE Ludhiana, March 3, 2019: Ludhiana based Hi Bird , a leading manufacturer and exporter of bicycles from India in its bid to provide comfort ride on common man’s roadster bicycle has installed an affordable multi speed sealed hub gear system on the traditional bicycle for the first time in the country. To meet the growing craze for geared bicycles in the country Ludhiana based bicycle manufacturer Hi-bird has equipped the common bicycle with sealed hub gear system with in-built hub gears, in-built front and rear drum brakes and front sealed hub with in-built dynamo light. “This technology is introduced first time in India. Normally multi speed bikes are with outer derailleur gear system but in this model gears are sealed and within the hub itself which is totally maintenance free. Installation of this gear system costs below Rs 2000 making bicycling a joy” said Mr Mr. R D Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director , Hi-Bird Bicycles. “In the recent years, the bicycle industry has seen all manner of changes including e-bicycles , electronic shifting, mountain bike wheel sizes, and disc brakes for the road but common man’s standard street bike was always left out which sells the highest in the country. Keeping this in mind we developed and installed multi speed gear system “ said Mr Sharma. Hi-Bird Cycles apart from geared street bicycle also introduced 18 exciting new models most of them in High End Segment. Company is known for pioneering in to the fashion bicycles with already having nearly 180 attractive designs and models in its product range. The new launched models are targeting the young peddling enthusiasts with latest features, highly attractive colours and stylish aesthetics. Most of the models are geared 21 speed equipped with high tech Shimano gear system, double wall alloy wheels, double disc brakes and suspension. Three models are with 24 gears and magnesium wheels. .The company’s chairman Mr. R D Sharma informed all these models have been developed as per latest trends in the international market and have shown an overwhelming response amongst youngsters, social media & e-commerce sites.
