Hero Steels Limited organises Customer Meet on theme “Partners in Progress” 

Ludhiana, June 23, 2022: Hero Steels Limited organised a Customer Meet on the theme “Partners in Progress” at Park Plaza, Ludhiana on Wednesday. Key manufacturers of cycles and cycle components were present at the event.  The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony followed by the launch of the Hero Steels brochure and the address of Sunil Kant Munjal (Chairman, Hero Enterprise). His words set the tone to realize partnerships and collaboration in business in Ludhiana. The gathering was a first among many for bringing together multiple business stakeholders and making Ludhiana a global hub of cycle manufacturing and export. 

Jogendra Singh (President - Finance & Group CFO, Hero Enterprise), who has also translated the book ‘Making of Hero’ in Hindi – Hero Ki Kahani, gave an insightful talk on how the invention of the wheel disrupted the pace of human progress, how manufacturing has evolved over the years, and the role of technology in the VUCA world. 

Some customers of Hero Steels Ltd. also spoke at the meeting. Harmanjeet Singh from Navyug Namdhari Enterprise explained how we need to identify the latent demand of the market. He stressed on the importance of 'out of the box thinking and bridging the gap with technology and innovation.

Madhur Gupta (CEO, Hero Steels Ltd.) concluded the event with his remarks. He went into detail about the significance of agility and dynamic operations in today's environment. He also congratulated the people of Ludhiana for their grit and courage in presenting a brave front to an adversity like COVID-19.

Sourav Dutta, (AVP, Marketing & Sales - Hero Steels Ltd) conceptualized the complete event Partners in Progress in line with Hero's philosophy with the motto engage - partner - celebrate won the hearts of customers.  The event came to an end with Q&A session, felicitation of customers, dinner, and networking where the participants discussed future prospects and partnerships.
