Hero Steels Limited organised a voluntary blood donation camp in association with Dept. of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital on the occasion of 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal of the Hero group.

Ludhiana, July 1, 2023: Hero Steels Limited organised a voluntary blood donation camp in association with Dept. of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion, Dayanand Medical College and Hospital on the occasion of 100th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal of the Hero group.
During this camp around 80 blood units were collected.
Bipin Gupta, Secretary, DMC&H Managing Society, appreciated the efforts of the team and the donors for their very valuable donations.
Dr. Sandeep Puri, Principal appreciates the good gesture of donors and their concern for the patient by donating their blood. He also said that their selfless and humanitarian act deserves the highest thanks and admiration of the community. Every single donation is a precious lifesaving gift and the institution and treated patients are forever grateful for their contribution.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Professor and Head, Dept of Immunohematology, encourages people in good health to donate blood regularly, as often as is safe and possible, to transform the quality of life for transfusion dependent patients and help to build a secure blood supply.
