Hero Steels Limited achieves 100 percent employee vaccination

Ludhiana, September 23, 2021: Setting a benchmark for other industries in the region, Hero Steels Limited, Ludhiana confirmed that all of its 450 on-roll employees are fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccination doses. 
Inspired by the vision and support of Hero Enterprise Group Chairman Sh. Sunil Kant Munjal and Executive Director Ms. Shefali Munjal, the team undertook employee welfare activities and initiatives at an early stage.
“Keeping safety of employees at the forefront, we started the COVID-19 vaccination drives as per guidelines of the Central and State governments,” added AGM-HR & Admin – Dr. Deepak Jain. Later, with the help of local administration and DMC Hospital, various workplace vaccination programs were organised for the employees and their family members to achieve this feat. 
Hero Steels CEO, Mr. Madhur Gupta, reiterated that it is the duty of the organisation to protect its people in difficult times. “Besides the vaccination programs, we also ensured that the best practices of cleansing, social distancing, and hygiene are maintained in our premises.” He also appreciated the efforts of all internal team members, DMC Hospital, and the officials of local administration in Ludhiana.
