Heram and Anil Aggarwal of CT Group bags title of “The Hidden Bartender”

Jalandhar: In order to explore the hidden talent of students, CT Institute of Hotel Management (CITHM) organized “The Hidden Bartender”. The uniqueness of this competition was that it was open for all age groups.
A total of 58 students registered for the first round where in all the students came up with a mocktail recipe which they were supposed to prepare in front of the Food and Beverage experts from CTIHM.
Out 58 students, 10 were shortlisted for the final round in which they were provided with a mystery ingredient which they were supposed to use to prepare a mock tail from the same. The mystery ingredients that were provided to them remained tamarind, green chilly, alovera, beetle leaves, black currants, basil leaves, black cardamom, tea leaves etc.
All the students prepared amazing mock tails using their innovation and passion for bartending. All the mock tails were judged by Dr Bharat Kapoor, Director CTIHM and Divoy Chhabra, HOD. Heram and Anil Aggarwal stood first and won the cash prize of Rs. 51,00 as they prepared Capsanago Punch out of tamarind water given as mystery ingredient. The 2nd prize of Rs. 3100 was bagged by Komal and Ritika Singh who prepared Summer Shine out of black pepper given as mystery ingredient. The 3rd prize of Rs. 2100 was bagged by Akanksha who prepared Chacha Chachi Mocktail using Aloevera Juice as mystery ingredient.
Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group congratulated all the winners and participants and said that it was a wonderful platform given to Non Hotel Management students too in order to explore their hidden talent of bartending.
