Government Polytechnic College, located in Rishi Nagar near Chhoti Haibowal. This desk will assist with admissions being conducted through the Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh. Students aspiring to get a technical education can visit this help desk to complete their registration free of any extra charges. Admission Eligibility: First-Year Diploma: Students who have passed 10th grade can take admission into the first year of the engineering diploma. Direct Second-Year (Lateral Entry): Students who have passed a 2-year ITI course, 12th (Vocational), or 12th (Science) can get direct admission into the second year. Government Polytechnic College, Ludhiana offers seven diploma streams: Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Fashion Designing, Garment Manufacturing, Modern Office Practice
Scholarships & Fee Concessions : For Scheduled Caste (SC) Students: Under the Dr. Ambedkar Post Metric Scholarship Scheme (run by the Government of India/Punjab), SC students whose parents' annual income is less than ₹2.50 Lakhs will only have to pay a nominal fee of ₹1,133. For Other Categories: Under the Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme, fee concessions and benefits are provided to students based on the marks obtained in their qualifying entrance/basic eligibility examinations.
