Health talk on “Road Accident and First Aid” 

Chandigarh, June 15, 2022:  Mehr Chand Mahajan, Boys Hostel Number 1, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized health talk on “Road Accident and First Aid” and awareness program today by Shivali and Sanjay from Department of Public Health, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Health camp was inaugurated  by Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Warden, Boys Hostel No. 1 and Dr. Manoj Kumar, PhD (Public Health) was resource person on this event. 

Around 35 residents, staff members and mess workers within the age bracket were screened for their blood pressure. The team counselled and guided the participant regarding the healthy eating habits and lifestyle change. 

Shivali discussed in detail about the first aid during any accident, fire accident and any type of medical attention. Mr. Sanjay talked about preventive measures to avoid road accidents.
