Ludhiana, July 23, 2023: The historical live operative workshop held in Ludhiana, Punjab, by Aykai Hospital in collaboration with the North Zone Urological Society of India, took place on 22nd and 23rd July 2023. The event was inaugurated by the Health Minister of Punjab, Balbir Singh, adding prestige to the occasion along with other distinguished guests. The workshop focused on live surgeries laparoscopically related to kidney and prostate cancer. These surgeries were performed in real-time, allowing attending urologists to witness and learn from the procedures firsthand. The event provided a valuable platform for sharing knowledge and advancing urological techniques for better patient care.


The Minister extended his heartiest congratulations to Organising Chairman Dr. Baldev Singh Aulakh and the entire team at Aykai Hospital for their exceptional efforts in organizing this conference, which brought together 300 eminent urologists from all over India to discuss the advanced treatments available in kidney and prostate cancer. He further added that this kind of live operative workshop performed by Dr BS Aulakh, Dr Girdhar Bora(PGI), Dr Malikarjuna ( Hyderabad),Dr Shrenik shah( Ahmedabad), Dr Rishi & Dr Rajiv from AIIMS and many others from many reputed institutions live from Aykai Hospital Ludhiana & Delhi, depicts confidence & advances in surgery and technology.


Approximately 300 urologists participated in the workshop, indicating the significant interest and importance of the event within the medical community.
