Hawan Ceremony organized at Govt. College of Yoga Education

Chandigarh, January 1, 2022: The Govt. College of Yoga Education and Health, Sector 23 A, Chandigarh organized a Hawan Ceremony in the context of New Year Celebrations 2022 for the Staff, Students of B.Ed. (Yoga), Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT), Basic Certificate Course in Yoga Education (BCCYE) and General Public Members on January 01, 2022.
Govt. College of Yoga Education & Health marked the beginning of the New Year by seeking the blessings of the almighty with a blazing Hawan ceremony. The faculty, students and general public members led by the principal Dr Sapna Nanda prayed for the auspicious start of the forthcoming year with the chanting of Vedic hymns and mantras. Dr Sapna Nanda while expressing her heartfelt wishes said that,” These rituals connect us extensively to life and lead us to the desired path of self-fulfillment. Being part of the pious hawan one experiences divine contentment and happiness.” This “hawan” (sacred fire) ceremony was attended by around 80 persons in the college premises.
