I have played many roles in my career, but Radhika is one such role that amazes the audience even today. I’m immensely grateful for our viewers and fans for continuing to shower their love and appreciation on me and the show.”

Emphasising on the importance of family in one's life, Bharati Achrekar says “Having the support of the family during these difficult times is essential, it is our family that stands by us and supports us. During these difficult times, I have found not only our families that have stood by us but also people from our workplace. Through our show, we try and instil the importance of families being together and supporting each other through thick and thin. A happy family is also a family that stays strong together. This helps in spreading positivity along the way. Our show strongly believes in all these foundations and continues to highlight the importance and beauty of a family.”

Talking about her on-screen family,Bharati Achrekar said, “Some relationships and bonds do not change. So, Aanjjan and I continue to bring about the same chemistry which people loved. The only thing that is different now is that we have grown up and now it is 40 years of our marriage in the show, which obviously makes a difference. The chemistry and values will be same but there is a little bit more nok jhok between the husband and wife. So, the character has not changed drastically but a little bit of change has been brough about in the tone and conduct of the senior Wagles. The most important aspect of this newer version is that the three generations have grown, and I’ve been seen playing the role of a grandmother.”
