Chandigarh, August 17, 2021: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh questioned Punjab PCC president Navjot Sidhi's loyalty to Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan by asking why the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue has been desecrated in Lahore three times during the Imran Khan's tenure.


Chugh said Imran Khan was claiming himself to be messiah of peace and this is what he is up to now.


Chugh reminded Sidhu that it was during the term of Imran Khan that Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who was a figure of communal harmony and progress in the region, has been insulted and denigrated in Lahore. "Can please Sidhu ask his blossom friend why is it happening?", Chugh asked.


He said now that Imran Khan government was lending full support to the Talibans in Afghanistan 


"Has Sidhu lost his tongue to speak for India and the Indians?" Chugh asked..
