Haryana News- Haryana Central University holds training programme

Mahendrahgarh (Haryana)/Jalandhar, September 26, 2013: Central University of Haryana under the aegis of Department of Education hold first day of two days training programme on survey tool of research in partnership with the educational NGO Pratham on Thursday.
Inaugurating the programme, Vice Chancellor of the University Major Gen. (Dr.) Ranjit Singh (Retd.) expressed serious concern over the deteriorating quality of education in the country. While addressing the students he mentioned that University can play a major role in sensitizing the people towards the significance of the education for the progress and prosperity of the society. He also persuaded the Dept. of Education, CUH for building partnership with the widely popular NGO for the benefit of the society. Then the training programme was given to the research scholars of the University wherein the representative of Pratham. Neeraj Kumarmade students aware about the aim of Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) prepared every year by the Prathamand provided training on Survey tool to assess the status of education of Mahendergarh District.

After two days training, it will be followed by school and community survey by the scholars of the University. Prof. H.S. Chandalia, Dr. Satish Kumar, Dr. P.K. Sahu, Dr. Renu Yadav, Vijay Kumar, Pradeep Singh also gave valuable contribution during the training session.
