Haryana Govt. providing Subsidy of up to ₹3 Lakh to SC Farmers for Tractor Purchase: DC Sachin Gupta
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Haryana Government has launched an important initiative to empower Scheduled Caste farmers by providing a subsidy of up to ₹3 lakh on the purchase of new tractors of 45 HP or above capacity. The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has invited online applications for the scheme till January 15, 2026.

Rohtak, January 1, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta informed that the Haryana Government has launched an important initiative to empower Scheduled Caste farmers by providing a subsidy of up to ₹3 lakh on the purchase of new tractors of 45 HP or above capacity. The Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Department has invited online applications for the scheme till January 15, 2026.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this scheme is a significant step towards enhancing farm mechanization, increasing farmers’ income and making Scheduled Caste farmers self-reliant. Under the scheme, beneficiaries will be selected by a District Level Executive Committee constituted at the district level. Selected farmers will be able to purchase tractors from manufacturers of their choice after registration on the departmental portal.
He said that eligible and interested farmers can apply online till January 15, 2026 at agriharyana.gov.in. For further information, farmers may contact the office of the Deputy Director Agriculture or Assistant Agricultural Engineer in their respective districts. A toll-free helpline number 1800-180-2117 has also been issued by the department to provide guidance related to the scheme.
