Prominently present as distinguished guests during the event were the Governor's wife, Mitra Ghosh; Haryana's Education Minister, Mahipal Dhanda; and the CM's OSD, Dr. Raj Nehru. During the ceremony, 760 students from various batches and courses received their UG and PG degrees.

Led by an academic procession, university staff members escorted the Governor and other guests to the dais, where the ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by the Saraswati Vandana, Vande Mataram, and the singing of the University Anthem.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha, and Dean of Academic Affairs Dr. Ajay Kaushik presented shawls and mementos to the guests. Portraits created by the university's students were also presented to the Governor's wife, Mitra Ghosh, and Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda.

The Chancellor conferred undergraduate and postgraduate degrees upon 760 students representing various batches and courses. Additionally, 35 students who demonstrated outstanding academic performance were awarded gold medals. Earlier, Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha welcomed the guests present on the dais, as well as the Vice-Chancellors and Registrars who had arrived from universities across the state. She extended a special welcome to the Governor and his wife by greeting them with "Shubh Prabhat" in Bengali.

In his address, Chancellor and Governor Prof. Aseem Kumar Ghosh said that it was a matter of great pride for him to be present at the convocation ceremony of DLC SUPVA, an institution established in the name of the great Surya Kavi Dada Lakhmi Chand. He noted that the poet's legacy continues to inspire generations of artists to this day. Congratulating the students receiving their degrees, he remarked that a convocation ceremony is not merely a formal event, but a celebration of knowledge, creativity, and responsibility.

The Governor said that India's higher education system is one of the largest in the world, currently imparting education to over 40 million students. Haryana, too, has made remarkable progress in this regard. He noted that DLC SUPVA is not merely conferring graduation degrees for the sake of employment; rather, the institute is nurturing creative leaders who are making an impact on society through fields such as performing and visual arts, fashion and textile design, film and television, as well as architecture. He emphasized the importance of remaining connected to our roots while embracing innovation. He expressed his hope that, in the future, the university would forge partnerships with global art institutions, participate in international cultural exchange programs, and establish Haryana as a distinguished contributor to the world's artistic heritage.

Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, while congratulating all the degree recipients, described the university as the very heart of the state's art, culture, and creativity. He noted that graduating from this institution serves as proof that the students have not merely acquired an education, but have also honed their sensibilities and talents here. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, our vision is clear: we aim to develop not just educational institutions that distribute degrees, but centers of skill development. He urged the students to serve as the torchbearers of Haryana's rich heritage in the fields of art and performance, encouraging them to resolve to become job creators rather than mere job seekers.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya welcomed all the dignitaries and extended his congratulations to the graduating students. He remarked that this day marks a significant milestone in their lives—not merely the conclusion of their academic journey, but the dawn of a new era, bringing with it new opportunities and new responsibilities. He also expressed his gratitude to all the faculty members and staff who played a pivotal role in guiding the students and shaping their bright futures.
