Chandigarh: Giving a decisive impetus to its business operations, the Hartek Group has taken two seasoned industry veterans, Dinesh Vij and Deepak Bharara, on board as Directors.
 
While Dinesh Vij, a highly experienced professional with a 40-year track record of scaling up businesses in leading public sector undertakings, is at the helm of business development and customer relations, Deepak Bharara, who also has an extensive experience of more than 40 years across a wide range of big Indian conglomerates and multinationals, will chart the course for human resource development and leadership in the Hartek Group.
 
Vij, who was the Executive Director at the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) prior to joining the Hartek Group, has also served in Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL). As CEO of Green Energy Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of the PFC, an organisation he served for 30 years, Vij was solely responsible for all aspects of running the company, including funding of renewable energy projects. “I will use my rich experience at the PFC to consolidate the Hartek Group’s foothold across all its business divisions to give the company a competitive edge,” said Vij, a specialist in corporate planning, corporate networking and financial modelling.
 
Bharara, on the other hand, has a vast experience of working with leading Indian and multinational companies like Eicher Tractors Ltd, Indian Express Group, Samtel India Ltd, Whirlpool of India Ltd, Bharti Group, Jindal Steel, Aditya Birla Group, GMR Group & LANCO Group as Chief HR Officer and Director, HR. He also runs his own consulting firm called People A2Z, assuming the role of Strategic People Partner with many organizations to improve their processes to achieve operational efficiencies with a customer-oriented approach aligned with commercial acumen. “I will align the HR policies and processes of the Hartek Group with its larger business objectives. The company has many ambitious plans and projects lined up, for which I will be preparing a roadmap focusing on leadership, team spirit and synergy,” said Bharara.
