Harshant Rai wins third position in Sahodya Inter School Fancy Dress Competition 

Phillaur, May 20, 2023: CT World School, Jalandhar organized inter school fancy dress competition with a great zeal and fervor on  20th May, 2023. Students from 40 schools participated in it. Children were on ramp to show case their adorned attires on two themes namely Bollywood for Grade I and Gadgets for Grade II. The enthusiasm and zeal exuded by the students was quite perceptible through their performances. The tiny tots draped in colourful attires were the cynosure. 

The students winning top slots were awarded with the certificates. And it is a matter of proud that out of 80 students, student of Grade I of DRV DAV Centenary Public School, Phillaur Harshant Rai won third position in the Bollywood theme where he depicted the character of PK from the movie ‘PK’ where he was adjudged on the basis of attire, theme depiction, creativity and confidence.

Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir lavished praise on the confidence level of Harshant. He thanked the parents for their cooperation and lauded the efforts of the teachers. He further said that such competitions instill confidence and zeal among the students. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them the opportunity to get on the stage and speak in front of the audience.
