Ferozepur, May 25, 2014: Veteran Educationist and Social Activist Harish Monga was unanimously elected as the President of Senior Citizen Forum today at a meeting held at Old Age Home, Ferozepur City.
Sham Lal Kakkar and Kulbhushan, who convened the meeting, terminated the old body of the forum and elected new members for the next session.
K K Dhawan was elected as Chairman where S S Chugh and Sham Lal Kakkar became Patrons. Kulbhushan and Des Tulli were elected as the Vice-Presidents of the forum where Vinod Goyal was elected as General Secretary.
Harish Monga said on this occasion that the forum shall continue its work for the betterment of senior citizens. He also said that the forum shall prepare a directory and I-Card of all the senior citizens and no stone shall be left unturned for the betterment of old aged persons.
