Construction and Repair of Link Roads in Rural Punjab Underway
Tarn Taran, November 5, 2025: In connection with the by-election scheduled to be held on November 11 in the Tarn Taran Assembly constituency, Chairman of the Punjab Mandi Board and Aam Aadmi Party’s State General Secretary, Harchand Singh Barsat, has been actively campaigning in support of AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu. During his campaign, Barsat met with people and shared detailed information about the Punjab Government’s pro-people initiatives and achievements.
Observing the love and enthusiasm of the people towards the Aam Aadmi Party, Barsat said that AAP’s victory in the Tarn Taran by-election is certain. He said that under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the state government has been continuously working to build a vibrant and prosperous Punjab. The AAP Government, in its three and a half years of governance, has undertaken exemplary work in every sector.
He informed that renovation and repair work of 19,491 kilometers of rural link roads across Punjab has been initiated. This will help farmers, traders, students, and the general public by making transportation easier and faster. Not only will farmers find it more convenient to take their produce to markets, but this will also boost economic activity across rural areas.
He said that the paddy procurement process in Punjab’s mandis is running smoothly, with proper arrangements made across all markets. Farmers, commission agents, and labourers are not facing any kind of problem. He added that the lifting of procured crops from the mandis is also progressing efficiently, and farmers are receiving payments for their crops directly into their bank accounts. He appealed to the people to ensure a massive victory for Aam Aadmi Party candidate S. Harmeet Singh Sandhu with an overwhelming majority.
