Happy anniversary, Mohit!

Mohit Mallik’s anniversary falls a day prior to the launch of his

marriage-based show ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’

Mohit Mallik says, “It’s quite an interesting coincidence that my own wedding anniversary happens to fall just a day prior to the launch of my show based on marriage ‘Doli Armaanon Ki’. The show is a bride’s journey of hope … For every young girl, her wedding is, undoubtedly, the most eagerly awaited day of her life. She has a million little hopes and dreams about her marriage … a vision of what her husband should be like, her own thoughts on the kind of life she wants to live once she ties the knot … The protagonist of our show Urmi is a starry-eyed, small-town bride who enters the institution of marriage, her eyes brimming with hopes and dreams. I play the man she gets married to … will I stand up to her dreams or turn out to be very different from what she’d imagined forms the crux of the story.”

Mohit feels that getting married is important as it brings more stability and peace in life. The actor believes that when there is someone to share everything with you, then your life surely becomes better.

Talking about his wife Addite, Mohit said, "Addite is like a friend of mine. She is very loving and caring and she shares everything with me. She never fights and is a very understanding person. She is definitely my soul mate. Addite is very sensitive and emotional and I always tell her to be strong. Both of us love traveling and watching movies", shares Mohit.

About working with co-star Neha Marda, the actor says, “Neha is an absolute delight to work with … not only is she an extremely effortless, proficient actor but a genuinely good human being. We’ve just started shooting 2 weeks ago but our interactions have been warm, friendly and I share an easygoing rapport with her!”

Doli Armaanon Ki launches at 10:30 PM on 2nd December and will air every Mon-Fri, only on Zee TV.
