Gurugram, March 30, 2026: In a stunning display of luxury and craftsmanship, an exclusive evening was hosted that seamlessly blended the worlds of haute couture and fine spirits on Saturday at Westin Residences, Sector 103, Gurugram.
The Fashion Show was Directed by Liza Varma.
The evening’s highlight was a breathtaking presentation by acclaimed haute couture designer Samant Chauhan.
Following the fashion presentation, guests were treated to “Apropos Magan,” a curated whisky tasting experience led by India’s first French-certified sommelier, Magandeep Singh.
On the occasion Liza Varma said, “Whiteland Westin Residences is such an amazing venue, I thought it would be best to Showcase my upcoming Cannes Film Festival Designer Samant Chauhan preview here, the right blend of Whisky Tasting Experience with a Haute Couture collection by my favorite designer of India.”
On the occasion Designer Samant Chauhan said, “We are looking forward to the upcoming Festival De Cannes Fashion Showcase with Show Director Liza Varma, this is a sneak preview of our collection which would be showcased at the most prestigious Global Glam Event in France.”
On the occasion Celebrity Sommelier Magandeep Singh said, “Today is an evening to celebrate all things high art. From fashion to food and drink, it's a lot about taste and personal preferences. Bland yet both abide by a certain unwritten code of conduct. And this evening we shall allow ourselves to enjoy a bit of both. Magandeep Singh will be taking our palates on a sensory tour through the world of exquisite whiskies and then, Samant Chauhan will give us a browse from his collection. Both promise to regale our senses, the tactile and the visual, and that's what a memorable evening should be all about.”
