Guru Kashi University students bagged position at Adesh Tech Fest

Talwandi Sabo, April 21, 2014: Recently a tech fest was organised at Adesh Institute of Technology, Faridkot. More than 25 educational institutes across the Punjab participated in this fest. GKU students participated and bagged five positions in different categories namely Kanchan-MBA (Best Student), Rajdeep Singh-B.Tech (Best Student), Kanwalpreet kaur-MBA (Singing 3rd), Munish Bansal-MCA (Debate 3rd), Pawandeep Kaur-BBA (Debate 3rd) and Jeetpal Kaur-BCA (Mehandi 2nd).

Dr. N.S.Malhi, Vice-Chancellor, GKU applauded the winning students and motivated other students of the University to participate in such events in large numbers. He acknowledged that participation in such events, helps students in brushing up their skills and making them capable enough to face the challenges in life.

Sukhraj Singh Sidhu, Managing Director, also appreciated the students and articulated that University is committed to overall development of students. He further added that University encourages students to take up extra-curricular activities along with studies and be prepared to prove themselves in today's competitive world.
