Guru Kashi University remember martyrs, holds seminar

Talwandi Sabo, March 25, 2015: Basic Sciences & Humanities College of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo on Tuesday held a seminar to remember the ideologies of the great martyrs (Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev) whose sacrifices librated millions of Indian from the shackles of the imperialism. In the seminar Deputy Dean of the College Dr.Ram Niwas, Famous Punjabi writer Dr.Balwant Singh Sandhu (Prof in Punjabi), Dr. Sukhjeet Kaur (Prof. in History) put light on the sacrifices and ideologies of the martyrs. Not only the faculty but also the students Amandeep Kaur and Jagwinder Singh shared the importance in today’s life and they even promised to the follow the great thoughts. Students dedicated the upcoming academic year to the great heroes in the form of full concentration towards their study, which will automatically contribute the development of nation. 

Paramveer Singh, B.A.-II student presented self made painting of Shaheed Bhagat Singh to the College. In the end of the seminar Dr. Ram Niwas thanked everyone for their contribution towards the seminar. 

Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor Guru Kashi University appreciated the efforts of the programme conduction by the Basic Sciences College and stated that these sons of soil taught us to live selfless life and will be inspiring us to serve the motherland till the generations and we must follow the ideologies of the great heroes of the nation, he added.
